La Companía de la Salsa
A Salsa band from Gothenburg that was started1999 by Klas and Per. We
play salsa,cha cha merenge and bolero.
Band is: Ingela Hellsten singer, Jorge

YEMAYA is Gothenburg's
newest salsa group. They play mainly modern cuban salsa, timba. The band
is composed by eleven musicians with very different backgrounds: Cuba,
Chile, Uruguay, USA, Denmark and Sweden. On stage they have 3 singers,
contrabass/bass, piano, saxofone, trombone, trumpet, timbales, congas
och bongó.

RUMBARÁ
is a salsaband that even plays some merengue and cumbia etc. The band
was started in 1996 by their enthusiastic leader Wilson

SALZUCAR.
Salzucar plays
mostly traditional salsa but also merengue, cha-cha and cumbia. The
band plays often at Rio-Rio and other salsa clubs in the western
part of Sweden. We played at Hammarkullenkarnevalen 2004 and we also
had many successful wedding gigs the last year. The band is led by
the singer Richard Rivera.

LAROYE is a salsaband
that plays modern, engageing and dance friendly music.. The band that
plays both own and more known salsa, was founded in 1992. Musical leader
is the cuban Raùl Lara. His brother Rolando improves the cuban part of
the band. Other musicians are from Sweden, Makedonia and USA. Laroye has
been on tour in the nordic countries and have performed at several
festivals, clubs and restaurants.
They also offers salsaclasses in combination to their
performances.
